About me
Dr. Spencer is a Surgical Critical Care and Trauma fellow at UConn/Hartford Hospital and a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Northern Virginia. She has a strong interest in education and quality improvement and was the Quality Improvement/Compliance chief and member of the Trauma Bay Committee during her residency. Dr. Spencer has a strong academic focus, with research experience at the NIH and multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She is particularly interested in trauma, critical care, and improving systems of care.
