Mark X. Cicero, MD, FAAP, FAEMS, is triple boarded in pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, and emergency medical services (EMS). He is an EMS physician, a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine (PEM) at Yale University School of Medicine and an attending physician at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. Dr. Cicero has served as the chair of the pediatrics committee of the National Association of EMS Physicians, served as a member of the National Biodefense Science Board, the National Advisory Committee on Children and Disasters, and as a federal medical officer for HRSA’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau. He speaks internationally on pediatric disaster preparedness and response.
