Brian Foley is currently the Town Manager of Tolland, CT, and has held that post since June of 2022. Prior to that, Brian was the Assistant to the Commissioner of the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection for 3 years, CT DESPP oversees the Connecticut State Police. Brian is also retired from the Hartford Police Department, holding the rank of Chief of Detectives after 24 years of service. After a decades of leadership roles in Law Enforcement and Communications, that included extensive media coverage, Brian has become a known and trusted face in Connecticut, especially in times of crisis. Brian is a regular Law Enforcement contributor to national Fox News, and was a reporter at local FOX61 for a year and continues to maintain a strong media presence. Brian holds a Bachelors of from Central Connecticut State University. Brian is also has held positions on dozens of non-profit, State and Municipal boards and commissions related to Law Enforcement.
